Royal George really close to the apartment is worth visiting. Comfortable bed, good sleep. 2 km from christchurch mansion;))

Take time to eat at Cinnamon Indian takeaway, which is close to the venue. We liked this apartment and its breakfast and rooms.

Our days here were WONDERFUL. There was a patio for relaxing. Delightful breakfasts. The bed was very comfy.

We were warmly welcomed to this clean and smart guest house. We stayed in the Lodge which was clean and spacious and had all the mod cons we could wish for. Breakfast was delicious with a large choice. Easy parking and ideally situated to go into Ipswich or visit the surrounding Suffolk countryside. Would recommend.

A lovely, clean and very well run guesthouse. It was perfectly situated for our needs. The breakfast was excellent! The Fountain pub at Tuddenham is great for dinner. Sally and Richard were very nice and extremely helpful.

What a warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent accomodation, it was exceptionally clean and well presented, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in when travelling. Richard and Sally went above and beyond expectations and what a fantastic breakfast. Would recommend without a doubt.

The couple and (chocolate Lab) that own and run this super clean establishment offer a very personal and dedicated service to their guests.The rooms are both well equipped and comfortable.Other plus points include ample hot (really hot!) water and lovely breakfasts.Highly recommended.........

Owners were very friendly and helpful. They certainly enjoy their job and do it well. They are conveniently located for genealogy as they are near the cemetary.It is a direct route from Stratford by train and would be a great place for Olympic visitors.

The only draw back is they are located uphill from town makeng it good for exercise or requiring public transportation or taxi.

The owners Sally and Richard were very welcoming and helpful. Their recommendation of a place to eat was great - The Fountain. On our return every evening, Sally was on hand with fresh milk for a hot drink. The B&B was well placed to visit a large selection of tourist spots.

I understand the front of the B&B was used for parking but it was not very attractive.

The food was better than average for a guest house, fresh mixed berry fruit salad was my favorite and they went out at short notice to get the type of soya milk I prefer, which was very kind. We normally eat all home cooked fresh produce from our garden and so it hard for others to meet the food standards we set. We prefer local food to try to keep our carbon foot print small so their polcy of local food was a bonus and one of the main reasons for choosing this venue. The bed was very big and comfortable. It had good rating 9.5 and we could see why it got that.

The noise of the traffic started very early and sounded like lorries going to docks and the buses vibrated a lot. It was very hot so we needed to have windows open. The sheets were not pure cotten bit irritating to me as it affects my body static. Ensuite very small and the rooms were packed too tightly with narrow stairs. We normally look for more spacious venue with organic food venue. Though we would not go there again as we would book earlier for the type of place we prefer we recommended it as nice enough to friends who have two little well behaved dogs as they seem dog friendly and for our friends this is a bonus. It was not in the right side of town for us which is why we gave low score for venue and we wanted idealy to be in the country but were very late booking for personal reasons. We would not recommend to other people who have same food preference to us.

Very friendly and accomodating couple who clearly take pride in their establishment which oozes quality, comfort and attention to detail. An excellent breakfast and nice quiet location for a good night's sleep.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Sidegate Guest House. Room was clean and well kept. People were friendly and helpful, and food was great.

There is an annoying loud little exhaust fan in the bathroom....nothing one cannot overcome, but would be better if it were a little less noisy. Certainly would not stop us from staying there in the future as the positives definitely out weigh this little annoyance.

Very nice, well furnished comfortable bedroom. Brilliant customer service, very friendly. Delicious breakfast, very good quality and locally sourced food.
